My name is Rebecca Troianos, LCPC. I am passionate in creating a warm, comfortable, nonjudgmental environment for all my clients. My goal when working with clients is to increase self-awareness, self-regulation, and self-actualization. I empower clients by building a positive working relationship that connects an individual to their mind and body as a whole. I promote awareness of tension and mind-body control. I also help identify unhelpful thoughts and behaviors that impact functioning in day to day life. I hope to improve overall emotional regulation and provide coping strategies that are tangible for when you leave my care.
My treatment modalities in order to achieve these goals include a combination of several evidence based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Somatic Experience, Person-Centered Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Emotion Focused Therapy. I individualize treatment to the needs of my clients so often am utilizing a combination of treatment modalities over the course of treatment.
I also provide Clinical Supervision for Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor Candidates (PCLC) and Licensed Clinical Social Worker Candidates (SWLC) in Montana. I have taken the Clinical Supervision 20 training course through NASW and would love to see more perinatal mental health professionals in the state of Montana.
I welcome all people who are taking the step to enter counseling. I am only taking clients 18+.
Overall, I believe counseling is an opportunity for growth, improvement, and exploration. I look forward to building a relationship and being the person that helps you on this journey!
My name is Mikayla Horn, and I am a counseling intern dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and empathetic environment for individuals navigating life’s challenges. I am currently pursuing my Master's in Clinical Mental Health at Grand Canyon University, where I am deepening my knowledge and skills in mental health counseling. My passion lies in helping people build resilience, develop self-awareness, and uncover their unique strengths. I believe in a collaborative approach to therapy, blending evidence-based practices with genuine compassion to meet each individual where they are. I draw inspiration from my own experiences and a deep curiosity about human connection and growth. Whether addressing anxiety, stress, relationship issues, or self-esteem, I am committed to walking alongside my clients as they work toward their goals and personal healing.
Outside of the counseling room, I am a wife, dog mom, and soon-to-be mom to a baby girl. My family and I recently moved back to Montana to raise our family. If I am not at home with my family, I am in the gym or enjoying the outdoors with my pup which helps me maintain balance and inspires me to bring my authentic self into my practice. I feel privileged to be part of this transformative field and am eager to support individuals on their path to mental wellness and fulfillment. I will be gaining practical experience under the supervision of Rebecca Troianos, LCPC, PMH-C and I am so excited to have this opportunity to continue to grow in my counseling skills.
*Interns in the state of Montana are not authorized to bill insurance so Mikayla will be offering sliding fee scale sessions for $40 for a 60 minute session.
